TalentTuner Refund Policy 2.0

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how TalentTuner handles refund requests for our services. As an unincorporated platform operated by an individual, we've created this policy to balance user satisfaction with sustainable business practices.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
TalentTuner offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for all service purchases. This policy applies to: - Power Plan subscriptions ($12/month with up to 30 optimizations per month) - Flex Credits purchases ($2 per credit, $6 for 5 credits, $10 for 10 credits)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Your refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of your purchase
- Your account must be in good standing with no Terms of Service violations
- You must provide a reason for your refund request
- Credits must be unused or minimally used (less than 20% of purchased credits)
3. How to Request Your Refund
If you're eligible and wish to request a refund:

- Include your account email address
- Provide the date of your purchase
- Briefly explain why you're requesting a refund
- Submit your request within the 14-day window
We process most refund requests within 5-10 business days. Once approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method via Stripe, our payment processor. For Power Plan subscriptions, your account will revert to the Free tier (1 free optimization). For Flex Credits, unused credits will be removed from your account.
4. Important Limitations
To maintain the integrity of our refund system, please note:
- Creating multiple accounts to abuse the refund system is prohibited
- Subscription cancellations are separate from refunds - canceling only prevents future billing
- We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for unused subscription time
- Credits never expire but refunds are only available within the 14-day window
- Excessive usage before refund requests may result in denial
5. Subscription Management
The 14-day money-back guarantee applies to all purchases. If you wish to avoid renewal charges for your Power Plan subscription:
- Log in to your TalentTuner account
- Visit your account settings
- Select "Subscription Management"
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
Alternatively, you can access the Stripe customer portal to manage your subscription. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your renewal date to prevent charges.
6. Exceptions and Edge Cases
While we review each refund request individually, we generally do not issue refunds in these situations:
- Requests made after the 14-day period has expired
- Excessive usage of credits before refund request (over 20% of purchased credits)
- Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service
- Accounts showing patterns of abuse (multiple account creation, excessive usage before refund requests, etc.)
- Repeated refund requests that suggest system abuse
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The current version will always be posted on our website with an effective date. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
