TalentTuner Refund Policy 2.0

1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains how TalentTuner handles refund requests for our Premium subscription service. As an unincorporated platform operated by an individual, we've created this policy to balance user satisfaction with sustainable business practices.
2. First-Time Premium Purchase Guarantee
TalentTuner offers a 7-day satisfaction guarantee exclusively for users making their first Premium subscription purchase. This policy applies to both monthly ($14.99/month) and annual ($143.88/year) subscription plans.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Your refund request must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your initial Premium purchase
- This must be your first-ever Premium subscription with TalentTuner
- Your account must be in good standing with no Terms of Service violations
- You must provide a reason for your refund request
3. How to Request Your Refund
If you're eligible and wish to request a refund:
- Email [email protected] with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email address
- Provide the date of your Premium purchase
- Briefly explain why you're requesting a refund
- Submit your request within the 7-day window
We process most refund requests within 5-10 business days. Once approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method via Stripe, our payment processor. Your account will immediately revert to the Free tier, limiting you to 5 analyses with LIMITED access per month.
4. Important Limitations
To maintain the integrity of our refund system, please note:
- Creating multiple accounts to claim multiple "first-time" refunds is prohibited
- Subscription cancellations are separate from refunds - canceling only prevents future billing
- We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for unused subscription time
- Refund eligibility does not reset if you switch between monthly and annual plans
5. Subscription Renewals
The 7-day guarantee applies only to first-time purchases, not to subscription renewals. If you wish to avoid renewal charges:
- Log in to your TalentTuner account
- Visit your account settings
- Select "Subscription Management"
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
Alternatively, you can access the Stripe customer portal to manage your subscription. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your renewal date to prevent charges.
6. Exceptions and Edge Cases
While we review each refund request individually, we generally do not issue refunds in these situations:
- Requests made after the 7-day period has expired
- Subscription renewal charges
- Accounts that have violated our Terms of Service
- Accounts showing patterns of abuse (multiple account creation, excessive usage before refund requests, etc.)
- Users who have previously received a refund
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The current version will always be posted on our website with an effective date. Significant changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
